Book artist and Curator Emerita at the Long Beach Museum of Art, Sue Ann Robinson, will be working in the Ralston Family Learning Center during her residency. Robinson will be working on her series, "The Walking Fools," two chapters of which will be on view in the Ralston as she works on Chapter Six. Robinson's artist's books are in many public and private collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Getty Research Institute, UC Berkeley, and Yale University among many others. Robinson's artist book, "Quercus Psalter", published by the National Museum of Women in the Arts, was recently added to the collection of St. Olaf College in Minnesota. Her work was featured in COLA20 at the LA Municipal Art Gallery and "Chapters: Book Arts in Southern California" at the Craft and Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles, in 2017. Robinson also teaches Artist Books and Papermaking in the CSULB College of the Arts. She is a member of the Guild of Bookworkers and the College Book Art Association.

They will be offered on Thursday evenings from 5PM to 8PM in the Ralston Family Learning Center. Workshops are free, materials and equipment will be provided. No book binding experience needed.
