The Long Beach Museum of Art houses an important permanent collection and presents temporary exhibitions while offering extensive educational and cultural programs for children and adults. In working toward this mission, the Museum offers a wide range of activities for all ages and continues to serve as a significant educational resource for the Long Beach Unified School District which serves Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill and Avalon. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors for enabling us to accomplish this mission. For more information about these important sponsorship programs, please contact Megan Goulding at (562) 439-2119 ext 335.
Here are a few ways you can help support the Museum:
Each year, the Long Beach Museum of Art provides a number of high-quality exhibition and educational programs to over 100,000 visitors. The LBMA Annual Fund supports these important activities, providing vital support to the Museum's core programming. Whether your gift is a one-time donation, a monthly reoccurrence, or an annual pledge, your tax-deductible gift can make a difference.
Long Beach Museum of Art's Corporate Partnerships program provides a wonderful opportunity for local corporations to become actively involved in the arts community. LBMA Corporate Partners provide generous support to the Museum's exhibitions, educational programs, special events, and annual fundraisers at a variety of sponsorship levels. The LBMA Corporate Partners program allows corporations to invest in the cultural development of the community while connecting to over 100,000 highly diverse individuals each year.
Sponsorships begin at the $1,000 level with increasing visibility and benefits available at higher levels. The Museum works with its Corporate Partners to tailor each sponsorship package to meet their specific marketing and philanthropic needs. Current benefits include:

The Long Beach Museum of Art is committed to serving as an educational resource for the entire community. Although the Museum provides programming for adults, students, and children, the majority of programs are developed for elementary students in the Long Beach Unified School District. Each year, the Museum provides high-quality, professional-level artistic programs to over 15,000 students, children and families.
Highlights of the Museum's educational programming include:
In addition to collecting and caring for a permanent art collection, the Long Beach Museum of Art presents 4-6 special exhibitions each year comprised of works borrowed from institutional and individual lenders from across the country. Each of our exhibitions strives to do one or more of the following: reflect a diversity of cultural perspectives; include work by California artists; include work by women artists; include work that is of particular interest to the local and regional community; and include work that promotes emerging local and regional artists.
The Long Beach Museum of Art is honored to have the support of a number of thoughtful individuals who support the Museum through their estates. These gifts play an integral role in sustaining the Museum's programming, and can serve as a wonderful tribute to an individual's lasting legacy. The Museum gratefully accepts the following estate gifts:
