More about Group Visits
KidsVisions
KidsVisions is the Museum’s primary educational program, serving nearly 5,000 fifth-graders in the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) each year. The program is free of charge to all participants, including the costs for bus transportation, and adheres to California State Standards in the Visual Arts and other fifth-grade curriculum subjects, including mathematics, history, science and language arts. It is offered during the school year in order to serve all elementary schools in the LBUSD.
LBUSD K-4 Group Visits
K-4 field trips are offered for LBUSD schools, subject to availability, and free for all participants.
Self-Guided Visits
Self-guided visits are currently open to middle, high school, and college classes, and community groups of over 7 people.
Self-guided visits are not led by museum educators or docents. Self-guided materials for the exhibition are available upon request, as well as clipboards and pencils. We encourage you to explore details about our current exhibitions.
